Hello – I’m back!!

Picked up this incredible autographed guitar this past week. It has been signed by ELEVEN classic names from the early years of porn (1968-1985.) The names on this guitar are: Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Nina Hartley, Kay Parker, Kelly Nichols, Veronica Hart, Annie Sprinkle, Sharon Mitchell, Serena, Laurie Holmes (John Holmes’ former wife), and screenwriter Raven Touchstone. Imagine how difficult it would be to gather all of these signatures individually. Luckily, they all came together for two nights last week to promote the release of a new book: GOLDEN GODDESSES: 25 Legendary Women of Classic Erotic Cinema (1968-1985.) The signing event took place at the Hustler Store, in Hollywood, California – and again on the following night another local bookstore in Los Angeles.

The “Golden Goddesses” of Erotic Cinema

The event was attended by about 200 people. It was somewhat of a mob scene with fans and collectors pushing and shoving to get near their favorite pornstar.  I was able to get a small number of additional items autographed for a nominal fee. Most of the ladies signed my items for free though – the girls were in a great mood.  I was only able to get one book autographed. I’ve tossed it up on my eBay account for sale. Although there were a lot of names present – the girls were up and about, hugging and kissing everyone in the room. It was a bit of a struggle just to get ONE of the books completed – much less several items. The book is also HUGE. It’s 900+ pages with over 300 photographs. It wasn’t all easy to carry it around while sorting through the pages to get the item signed. Beyond that, the girls just wouldn’t sit still!! You’d work your way through the crowd to them and then the next thing you’d know they get up and walk across the room. It was somewhat of a crazy -but enjoyable - boogie night.  Anyway, I thought I’d share a few of my original images from the event. Check them out –
